This site is to supply information and comments regarding the recall of Riley Township's three Board Members. The Township Clerk, Township Treasurer and a Township Trustee are all subject to recall on February 23, 2010. This Special Election will be at the Riley Twp. taxpayer's expense.
This recall attempt was spearheaded by Supervisor Rushing and the petitions were filed at the County by Ron Gauthier. This site is to show support for these three Officials. Vote "NO" on the recalls.
If you see your name on this petition, you were lied to by Dave Rushing. He wants to controll the township board and help his friend Mr. Birkenshaw expand his adult toy store.
These three women were elected by you in November 2008 because you believed they were the most qualified to represent you. Nothing that has happened in the last 14 months has lessened their qualifications. Each of these women has been a credit to the Township. They have worked tirelessly to make certain that the best interests of all Riley Township residents have been represented on the board. Linda Waddy, Nancy Dudek and Linda Belesky deserve the continued support of all of us. Please VOTE NO in February. Make sure that your voice is being heard. ....Doug
These women were only doing the best they could for our township and still are! They are not the only three to allow this law suit to protect our community but I;m glad they stood there ground otherwise everyone would do as they please if they knew their were no consequences. They should remain in office as they were voted in!!!!! Sincerly Jeff
I give all my support to all three women they did nothing diffrent then the other board members. I will also vote no to this recall! And make sure you click on all the diffrent petitions and articles on the left and you will find additional information and more opinions that all speak the truth.
This current board will be in a big mess without these three members do not allow this stupid election ruin our fine community! Stop this ridiculous joke in its tracks and lets get back to business.
